{#GoHawks} Super Bowl Week Seattle Morning Commute

I will be honest with you…I am NOT a morning person!  And I am still working on getting over whatever this bug is that has been bothering me for the last several days.  However, I just cannot help but to find myself grinning from ear to ear as I drive into Seattle lately.  We are still quite a few days away from Super Bowl XLIX, but there is no denying the energy that you feel as you approach the city.  Everywhere you look in the gridlock you will see 12^th Man flags flying from car windows, “build your own Russell Wilson action figure” cutouts in rear windows and people decked out from head to toe along with the millions of Seahawks bumper stickers.  Then as you come over the ridge you will see the recently restored Rainier Brewery “R” in half blue & half green, an office building with green light filled windows lined up to make a big “12”, “Legion of Boom” hand painted in the window of a local business and sky scrapers lined with a sort of blue & green ombre light spectacle.


The energy & excitement are palpable days before the game even starts!  It is such a pleasure to drive in each morning as we get closer to the game and to feel the dynamic build!  I know there are some out there who think we’re too young, who think we’re too cocky, who think we just got lucky or that we even stole this opportunity.  All I have to say is look at where we were this time last year, look at the season we’ve had, look at the games that built up to that last one and look at how we did the unthinkable to turn that final game around.  I know it sounds presumptive to say “we” as I sit at this desk here at home typing away and am not out there getting hit by a train and toughing through it.  But I believe that there is something to this energy that WE as the collective 12^th Man bring to the party and I do believe that it pumps those guys up when others would give in to defeat.  So that is why I’M IN and we are gonna #LeaveNoDoubt247 … #WeAre12 , this is the #LOB , and you know what: #ItsAllAboutThatActionBoss !  In conclusion, all I have to say is that #WereTheBlueAndTheGreenAndAllUpInYourFace .  So in the words of Ms. Taylor Swift:
