What's for dinner? A three-way perhaps?

Back in the day I went to college in Nashville, TN…best time of my life!  And while there I met some of the coolest people ever and had some of the craziest experiences…some of which I will share with you at some point.  Anyhow, I had this super awesome friend who met some random guy at a bar one night…this random guy is now her husband!  They thought it would be fun to introduce me to his friend so we could double date and it worked!  The random guy & his friend lived about four hours north of Nashville in Kentucky near the border of Cincinnati.  I ended up dating the friend and the four of us would spend certain weekends either there or in Music City, it was all a drunken haze as all good college stories should be!  While at their place we would go out to eat, go to bars and nurse our hangovers at their house.  One of the best cures for a hangover, if you haven’t tried it yet, is a three-way.  And no, I do not mean an orgy.  I mean a Cincinnati three-way: spaghetti noodles, shredded cheddar cheese and Cincinnati chili! Gold Star was my favorite… yumilicious!  Anyhoo…that relationship did not last, but one thing did…my love for a good three-way!

The only problem is that I now live in Seattle, WA and no longer eat beef or pork!  Oh what to do…  At first, before I swore off beef & pork, I just went to their website and found that you could order cans of the amazing nectar!  That worked out great and I even gave the cans out as stocking stuffers one Christmas!  The next problem was how to handle my conversion to a poultry eating Pescatarian!  I found a resolution to that problem as well…spice packets with a recipe.  How would that help you may ask…the answer is ground turkey and/or chicken!!  Talk about a life saver!!

So tonight we feasted on a delicious ground turkey & whole grain noodle Gold Star three-way with organic cheese!!!  I could so eat like ten bowls, but stopped myself at one and a half!!  Try it for yourself if you haven’t already!
